The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. Greater Huntsville Area Chapter (NCBW-GHAC)
The Coalition of 100 Black Women was founded in 1971 by a group of dedicated African American women in New York City. In 1981, the group created a national organization and renamed it The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW). Today, NCBW consists of more than 3,000+ members representing 62 chapters in 27 states.
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW), Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that advocates on behalf of Black women and girls. Our members address concerns in economic empowerment, education, health and public policy, to promote gender and racial equity.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
NCBW Mission
The Mission of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. is to advocate on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.
NCBW Vision
The Vision of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. is to see black women and girls live in a world where socio-economic inequity does not exist.
